Monel 400®, Nickelvac® 400, Nicorros® 400 Monel 400 is a combination of nickel and copper and is hardened by cold working only. This alloy is widely renowned for for its corrosion resistant properties against flowing sea – water and is extensively used for marine applications. Monel is also extremely resistant to stress corrosion cracking in most freshwaters. High temperature ( bis 1000 °F) has no effect on this alloy and it also has excellent mechanical properties at subzero temperatures.

Leistungsbeschreibung

1.Einleitung

Monel 400 ist eine Art korrosionsbeständige Legierung mit der größten Dosierung, die umfangreichste Nutzung und die bester Umfassende Leistung. Diese Legierung hat eine ausgezeichnete Korrosionsbeständigkeit in Flusssäure und Fluor Gasmedium und gute Korrosionsbeständigkeit gegenüber heißer konzentrierter Alkaliflotte. Es ist auch beständig gegen Korrosion von neutralen Lösungen, Wasser, Meerwasser, Atmosphäre und organische Verbindungen. Einer der wichtigsten Charaktereigenschaften der Legierung ist, dass sie im Allgemeinen keine Spannungsrisse erzeugt und gute Schneidleistung.

4.Korrosionsbeständigkeit

Acid medium: Monel400 is corrosion resistant in sulfuric acid with a concentration of less than 85%.

Monel400 is one of the few important materials in hydrofluoric acid resistance.

Water corrosion: Monel400 alloy not only has excellent corrosion resistance in most cases of water corrosion, but also is seldom found with hole corrosion, stress corrosion, etc. The corrosion rate is less than 0.025mm/a.

High temperature corrosion: Monel400 continuous work in air generally at about 600 °C, the highest temperature in the high temperature steam, corrosion rate is less than 0.026 mm/a.Ammonia:because Monel400 high nickel alloy content, reason can be below 585 ℃ anhydrous ammonia and ammoniation under the condition of corrosion.
